SPOILERS ahead on Fuller House Season 5, Part 1, which premiered December 6, 2019 on Netflix.

Triple wedding howl on three, two, one — I doooooo! Fuller House Season 5 is the final season of the Full House sequel spinoff, and the first nine episodes were released on Netflix this past Friday. The final nine episodes will arrive in 2020. When they do, you already know what we’ll be doing — a lot of crazy wedding planning for DJ Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber).

Chaos! That’s the word from Candace Cameron Bure to TVLine, after DJ finally got engaged to Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) in Fuller House Season 5, Episode 9. We got a preview of how nuts that triple wedding will be in the last minutes of Episode 9.

DJ came up with the idea of the She-Wolf Pack having a triple wedding. She said it would be so easy planning the one giant wedding. But right after that, she mused that she wanted to get married in a beautiful cathedral. At the same time, Stephanie imagined getting married on a beach in Mazatlán. And Kimmy, being Kimmy, pictured herself getting married on the international space station.

So, yeah, it’s going to be a little tougher than they thought. Fuller House‘s Candace Cameron Bure warned fans almost a full year ago that Season 5 would have “wedding bells,” although she didn’t say for which couple. Turns out, all of the main trio!

Jimmy already proposed to Stephanie at the end of Fuller House Season 4, right after Kimmy gave birth to their baby. Stephanie stopped Jimmy from following DJ & Steve and Kimmy & Fernando for another engagement in Season 5, Episode 9. Stephanie spent most of Season 5, Part 1 learning how to be a mom to little baby D.J. (Danielle Jo) and basically becoming her own version of the other D.J. Oh My Lanta!

So in Season 5, Stephanie is still going to be raising her baby while also planning this wedding. But I can imagine D.J. will do most of the planning, or try to, and Kimmy will complicate things in Kimmy’s way and maybe Stephanie will get frustrated about being left out? A guess. We can safely assume things won’t go to plan but will turn out just right in the end.

Fuller House Season 5, Part 1 is streaming now on Netflix. The final nine episodes of the entire series will premiere with Part 2 in 2020, but Netflix hasn’t released the date yet. The streamer will probably wait until just a few weeks before the launch to release a date announcement teaser with new footage, like it did for Part 1.

Keep up with all of Netflix’s 2020 premiere and return dates, as they are announced, with our handy schedule. Here’s hoping Kimmy Gibbler gets that wacky space station wedding of her dreams!
